Our role is simple:
We facilitate discussion, connect people and organisations, to make things happen.
Culture, Heritage and Tourism (CHaT) group
A key part of our work is convening and chairing the Culture, Heritage and Tourism (CHaT) group, that meets every second month.
CHaT has become a trusted space for local organisations, businesses and community groups to share updates, network and collaborate. It reflects exactly what CCDT stands for: partnership, openness and a shared commitment to all of Cirencester.

From the Phoenix Festival to the Cirencester History Festival, from Bands in the Park to the Cirencester Community Awards, we are proud to support activities, organisations and events that bring Cirencester together.

About CCDT
Our board of trustees
Following an organisational renewal, Cirencester Community Development Trust (CCDT) has entered a new chapter. With a new Board of Trustees and a revitalised relationship with Cirencester Town Council, CCDT will promote ideas and initiatives to make our town thrive.
Connection and resilience
We are also committed to strengthening collaboration across all of Cirencester’s communities, heritage groups, voluntary organisations and neighbourhoods. Our aim is to help create a more connected, inclusive and vibrant town — to which all residents are able to contribute.
The future’s bright
As we look ahead, we plan to focus more on the needs and interests of Cirencester’s young people. This will be a long-term commitment, building on existing organisations, as well as supporting initiatives designed by and for Cirencester’s youth.
With a clear strategy and a renewed sense of purpose, CCDT is ready to help shape the projects and partnerships that will shape Cirencester’s future, focusing on the whole town, and all residents: One Cirencester.
